Muhle Rytmo Black Fibre Shaving Brush
Our Muhle Black Fibre Shaving Brush – RYTMO
The Material – Steamed Ash
Besides beech and oak, ash is one of the most important indigenous deciduous timbers. It is to be found in Europe, most frequently in the more northerly regions. For our purposes, the wood is briefly heated to a very high temperature.
In this process it attains high resistance to water, the grain is accentuated and the wood takes on its brown color. In order to preserve the naturalness of the surface, however, it is treated only with oil, not lacquered. This provides the wood with perfect protection against water and makes it particularly long-lasting.
Without chrome the world would forfeit a lot of its luster. In the finish used for our wet shaving accessories it demonstrates its best qualities: The material is corrosion-resistant, very long-lasting and has a luxurious, alluring luster. When contrasted with this, the colors and shapes of other premium materials are shown to their very best advantage.
The Material – High Grade Resin
High-grade resin is a high-quality synthetic material, the surface of which is processed and refined separately. The material is ideal for exclusive accessories and writing implements because it facilitates a broad spectrum of modern and classical designs in many attractive colors.
To begin with, the aesthetic basic shapes for brush and razor handles are turned out of solid rods. Then each individual work piece is polished in several passes to give the surface its special gleam. This processing method lends the models a pleasant feel and secures their beauty for many years to come.
The Brushhead – Black Fibre
We developed this purely vegan quality specially for wet shaving. In their dark coloring and softness the synthetic fibres largely resemble natural hair material of pure badger quality and are also a little softer at the tips.
The synthetic fibres possess equally good performance characteristics. At the same time, the fibres prove somewhat sturdier and more durable. Some users prefer this material not only due to its vegan properties, but also because it produces particularly creamy shaving lather.
